    Meet the Director--Alena Tobolkova
Alena began to work for MCCA in October 2003 at the Park Street center. She worked as a teacher with school age children. After a couple of years, Alena became the School Age Coordinator and in August 2007, she was promoted to the Director of MCCA’s newest center, Arcola. Alena always wanted to work with children but she did not have a chance to do so in old communist Slovakia (former Czechoslovakia). She came to the United States in August of 1991 and started to work with children from the beginning. Alena took many workshops and trainings, received her Child Development Associate, and currently, she is working on her degree in Early Childhood
Education at Montgomery College. Alena is happy that this country gave her the opportunity to follow her dream of working with children.
