School age before & after school program at Ashburton/Wyngate:
- For children ages 5 to 12 years
- Hours: 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, and/or 3:15 PM to 6:30 pm
- Breakfast and PM snack provided
- MCPS bus transportation to and from Ashburton and Wyngate Elementary Schools

We offer an enriching summer that keeps your child's body and mind active: 10 exciting Theme Weeks, our "Summer Reading Rocks" program, activity choices in addition to our themes, "low key" time for you child plus field trips, swimming, sports and hands-on discovery.

Meet the Director--Jessica Bowers
Jessica is a native of Charleston, South Carolina so she loves the beach and sunny weather. She attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia where she received her BA degree in Public Relations as well as her MA degree in Elementary Education. After graduating college, Jessica taught 5th grade for five years in Summerville, SC. While at Newington Elementary, she had the opportunity of teaching struggling readers and writers in a title one school. Although Jessica liked teaching very much, she needed a change of scenery and now lives in the Bloomingdale area of DC. She enjoys exploring the area and is getting acclimated to “city living”. Jessica is a die-hard Gamecock fan and loves watching SEC football in the fall!
