Preschool program at Kensington/Forest Glen:
- For children ages 2 to 5
- Hours: 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM (late night option for additional fee: care until 6:30 PM)
- Two-year-olds accepted prior to toilet training
- Breakfast, lunch, AM and PM snacks provided
Young Fives program at Kensington/Forest Glen:
- For children ages 4½ to 5 years
- Designed for children who miss the MCPS kindergarten cut-off date
- Hours: 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM (late night option for additional fee: care until 6:30 PM)
- The Creative Curriculum® is implemented in this class of 20 children
School age before and after school programs at Kensington/Forest Glen:
- For children ages 5 to 11 years
- Hours: 6:30 AM to 9:15 AM and/or 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Breakfast and PM snacks provided
- MCPS bus transportation from Oakland Terrace Elementary School and selected immersion and special needs programs
Summer Adventures at Kensington/Forest Glen:

We offer an enriching summer that keeps your child's body and mind active: 10 exciting Theme Weeks, our "Summer Reading Rocks" program, activity choices in addition to our themes, "low key" time for you child plus field trips, swimming, sports and hands-on discovery.

Meet the Director--Kimberly Boozer
Kimberly has over 25 years of experience working with youth ages 2 – 21. She originally worked for MCCA in 1984 as a program assistant at MCCA Bel Pre and returned in 2004 as Assistant Director at MCCA Kensington/Forest Glen. In 2008, Kimberly was promoted to director and she maintains less than a 10% staff turnover each year. Kimberly holds a degree from the University of District of Columbia.
